Every year, we look for new growth on trees and other kinds of plants.
Growth is a sign of health and vitality. At Divine Savior, we’re always looking for signs of spiritual growth, too! And we make it a priority to provide conditions for faith to deepen and mature. Our Life Group ministry is designed just for that purpose, as the members of each group share life, apply God’s Word to life, and grow together. As we like to say, “Life Group is a chance to talk, laugh, pray and grow together.”
Life Groups are adults ranging from those with very young children to empty-nesters to retirees who meet weekly in 10-week sessions to discuss that week’s message and how to apply God’s truth in their daily lives. Life group members encourage each other in their faith, encourage each other to grow, pray for one another, help each other in hard times, become friends.
"When I joined a Life group, I expected to take a more in-depth look at the meaning of the weekly sermon and the bible texts that it was based on. I found that was true, but I found there was much more there. I found a group of Christian friends that shared their joys and concerns and were truly caring and supportive of each other. We got to know each other much better through socializing and some great discussions. I leave the sessions feeling my faith strengthened, energized, and looking forward to the next meeting."

The spring session of Life Groups begins on the weekend of March 3, 2024. We will be on Easter hiatus the weekends of March 24 and 31, and no study guides will be produced. The last weekend of the session is May 19.
