Pastor Doug Stowe
Senior Pastor
Pastor Doug Stowe has been at Divine Savior since 2011. He graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO, in 1997, where he developed a deep fascination with the Synoptic Gospels, that is, Matthew, Mark, and Luke.
Preaching and teaching the Bible are his passions. The best sermon is the one that puts Jesus’ saving work right in the middle of life’s challenges.
Away from the church, he reads widely, especially U.S. history and enjoys watching sports, especially football and soccer. Pastor Doug sings in the choir and plays in the handbell choir. He and his wife, Sue, are moving into the empty-nest phase of life and are enjoying discovering some new opportunities.
Check his blog, “A Dangerous Thing”, from time to time for reflections on chapters in the Bible, articles, and notes of interest to Pastor.
